Signs are a reflection of our culture and are communication tools that we encounter on a daily basis.

You may have seen a sign stapled to the caution tape surrounding your department’s microwave, which if opened, displays an eruption rivaling Mt. Vesuvius.

Or how about the hastily scribbled sign indicating the restrooms or elevators are out of order?

Often times you’ll even find yourself wishing for a sign for that annoying co-worker or mysterious calculator thief, which may be scrapped instead for a universal digit.

Signs are also an emerging trend for weddings, and no, I don’t mean of the caution – wet floor variety. Shout out your love with these super cute and utterly adorable signs or get creative with your own enchanting expressions.

Orange & Purple Inspiration

If you’ve ventured into the world anytime over this past week, then you’ve probably heard that Pantone has chosen its color for the year: tangerine tango.

It’s a deeper orange with red undertones that looks stunning on its own, but I’ve paired it with purple and created an inspiration board for you.

Winter Wedding Cakes

It’s no secret that one of my favorite elements of wedding planning is the cake. Whether it’s a three-tiered tower of sugary goodness, a mini cake tower, or any of the modern variations we see today, the cake is truly a work of art!

Browsing through flickr, Google images, or even The Knot photos will satisfy any craving you may have for a decadent afternoon indulgence, and best of all, there’s zero calories in looking!

Winter is here and if the 29° temperature reading isn’t enough to persuade you, it snowed today! If you’re planning a gorgeous, yet frosty winter wedding, you’re probably considering other factors in your dress than just the style.

It was difficult enough to find non-strapless dresses for my 2008 wedding and it seems the trend is still going strong.

If your heart is set on long sleeves, don’t despair. I scoured the Internet for designer dresses with long sleeved-options and below are some of the delightful results.
